    Weightless Senko hook

what hook do you all like to use for your Weightless Senkos?

I have never been a weightless senko guy at all just never used it a ton but I know its a very effective way to fish them.

I always have used 1/o gammy split shot drop shot hook but have tried the longer shank stingers mentioned above last year some because everyone was talking about them. I haven’t lost a large amount of fish but I think I got better hooks in them with the longer shank

2/0 Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap. 25 pack at the start of each season. DDOONEEE!!!

I've started using clear silicone tubing as well, helps with durability, keeps the hook in the same orientation.

Why don't you just buy 25 jig hooks, would be a lot cheaper than the drop deads?

1/0 and 2/0 Gamakatsu octopus. Surprisingly I don’t get hung up as much as you’d think. Mostly lay downs and rocks. May try a weed guard style see how well it works in vegetation.

Well little update. so I bought some of the VMC Weedless Wacky hooks in 1/0 and used them this past weekend.
I have never lost so many fish on a hook in my life. I probably lost 15 fish or more. not sure if it was because of the wire weed guard but I did cut it off one hook and my hook ups did seem to improve.
not knocking the VMC hook because the ones that I did get to the boat were stuck good. just not sure if it was just the way it is fishing wacky style as I haven't ever hardly done it but man I was really irritated over it

I don’t like wacky hooks for wacky rigging. I much prefer Neko hooks
