Google really isint helping, thought id check the ol bbc. 2017 grand caravan. On cruise control on highway it will sometimes kick off the cruise, and a CEL and traction light kick on. Anyone dealt with this before? Seems to go in to a limp mode. Severely reduced englne power. Has a p0349 camshaft position sensor... but its kicking on the traction control, wondering if theres a wheel bearing going?

Is it still under warrenty? If it is take it to the dealer and make them fix it.
The traction lights will also come on along with the check engine depending on the code ..cam shaft position being one of them
2017? ... this should be covered.
A CPS retimes the engine every time it starts. On certain vehicles, they're easily replaced and they go out from time to time. No big deal.
3.6 motor?

She says it only had a 36k warranty, shes at 50. Good to know, we may throw a new cam sensor at it. They arent to expensive.

Check to see if you have an open recall for that year. We have one for a 2014 durango and the recall is for that specific issue
