Prop Recommendation: 2010 PII 200 ProXS

    Okay Guys. Here goes...

I purchased a 2010 PII about six weeks ago. When I tested the boat out on Table Rock Lake the boat hit 70mph. I did not see what RPM's the boat was running at. But, I live in Wyoming and at high elevation. I knew I would need a different prop. The boat came with a Fury 4 25P. I ran it at 4500 feet of elevation with the Fury 4 25P and hit 5150 RPMs. Doing some reading on here and taking some recommendations from a fellow BassCat owner in the west I settled on a Bravo 1 XS 24P. I ran it this weekend at 4500 feet of elevation and was hitting 5400-5450. The motor is mounted on a Slidemaster JP. With the Fury 4 it was set at 1/4 inch above flush. After seeing the performance with the Bravo at 5450, I raised the JP another 1/4 of an inch and had identical performance. The wind picked up and I was unable to make any more JP adjustments. My plan right now is to switch props to a 22P Bravo 1 XS. I know BassCat doesn't recommend raising the motor very high. One more thing, the lake I fish the most sits at 6500 feet of elevation. Which means I will likely lose even more RPMs.

What are everyones thoughts on my issue? Im looking to max out RMPs at 5750. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would stick with the fury 3, just back off on the pitch. You are down on horsepower at nearly a mile high altitude. Might need a 23 if you can find one, else a 24 for sure...

I run a dual console 2016 PII with dual power poles. In Louisiana I am near sea level, but the heat and humidity does kill power.
BCB recommends the 24 Fury 3 for my boat. It ran 72.6 tournament load and full fuel at 5800 RPM's.
I have a 24 Fury 4 also which works great for smaller lakes and low speed bow carrying.
I believe dropping down to a 24 Fury 3 would be a good choice. Possibly even the 23 Fury 3 at those elevations.

Your RPM target of 5750-5800 is exactly right. Prop to run it there when you're as light as you'd be normally. Hard to beat the lift and performance of the Fury 3 on that boat. Just downsize the pitch to compensate for your altitude as everyone else already suggests.

I ran a 24 fury 3 on mine in the summer. Best I ever saw was 74 mph. I also ran a Croxton Razor 3 and I think it was a 25.
