    yes it happened to my ranger. just replace the mount and you are good. not sure why it happened

    might have happened by loading the boat too aggressively repeatedly hitting the mount against the roller

    Happens to me about every 2-3 years...power loading is the cause.

    Can actually happen during the opposite process. If you leave the bow rope attached and the winch in gear when launching, the boat slides away from the bunks and then stops suddenly when it hits the end of the rope. Don’t ask me how I learned this...

    West Marine also carries replacements that are identical to OEM, if you have one of their stores close by.

    My 13 did this as well. Replace it and your good
    Gun Control..... Is hitting your target every time
