    That's not good to hear.

Sure it's Algae and not Pollen Floating on top?

I was on George a few weeks ago and it was very heavy in many areas. Don't think it was pollen. I haven't noticed any north of Palatka.

There is some nasty stuff floating around the Lake Griffin boat ramp too (Herlong Park). Maybe they should spray the lake some more.

The videos that I have seen, it is thick green algae...definitely not pollen. They even had a picture of it in a water bottle...nasty stuff.

Nitrogen & phosphorous -BOO! My home lake, Clearlake, CA, has it (BGA) bad in summertime. I don't think spraying helps against this stuff.

The spraying remarks here are pure sarcasm because our state has been nuking all the vegetation in our lakes for years now, thus eliminating any benefits of the filtering effects of what the grass provides in our ecosystem. They have basically turned all of our lakes into muck bottom mud holes.

It’s all the way to Trout and Six Mile Creek. It wasn’t there 3 days ago.

For sure. If it's that bad already what is it going to look like when the water temp hits 90?

I agree the state works to hard to control everything, they need to let the echo system do it’s natural thing, some humans try to control everything and they should not.
