    Propping a 20xdc

Got a 2000 20xdc with a 2000 225 promax with sport master lower. Been testing props for awhile now and still having a hard time finding a good all around prop does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

If you have a 28 performer I’m extremely interested. You can pm me directly.

Hydromotive qIV O/T 26p is the best all around prop I have for my 2000 20xdc with 225 offshore promax.
I like the 28 performer 4bc also, but i only run it when i know I’m going to be making a lot of long runs, as i prefer the holeshot and general handling and cornering of the hydro better.

A good 26p trophy with some work is hard to beat too, until it goes deaf on you.

A 25 or a 27 Yamaha v-max t-1 prop with some work is a dang good all around beater on this rig too

I am now running a 28 4 blade signature(ET copy) for my loaded prop and love it. Hopefully it doesn't crack blades like the ET's. 20XD/225X promax. I have run a lot of BC choppers and the 2.5 motors don't like the big diameter props in my opinion unless you are light and just want to go fast
