    Humminbird in hull with lowrance ??

    Hello All

    This May have been discussed before but I can’t seem to find where. I switches from solix to hds live. I have a hummingbird in hull transducer that came with the boat. Anyone know if it will work somehow with lowrance live units ?? Thanks in advance

    I think you can step down a HB unit to a lowrance -2D- transducer but not the other way around. But you might be able to create your own adapter.

    I know this thread is a few months old but has anyone ever figured this out? I have a Carbon 12 unit that i'd like to connect an existing HB thru-hull transducer to, even if I have to cut and splice some wires. I have a AI 3-n-1 transducer on the transom but doesn't read well on plane.

    Watch the YouTube video by Jacob Scott on how to properly mount the transducer. They need be properly mounted to get SONAR on plane. It will work.

    There are a couple articles about doing this. Not sure it would work with a 9 pin Live unit but here is one of them
