Fished in a downpour last weekend and like other times water pools in the corners of the seats. Has anybody experienced the same and done anything to fix it?

Mine does that as well...I just kind of scoop it out of there. The good news is the seats have a membrane under the material that keeps the water out of your seat foam, so the pooling in the corners is a pain but not a concern of soaking your seats.
One of the great innovations on a Phoenix. The seat backs and cushions can be removed and everything dried out. An 18yr Ranger owner, the seats were fantastic but held water.

The good thing about my Ranger is all you have to do is wipe the seat off and sit down. Never had to remove cushions to dry them out.
Maybe give them a chance to dry out?
after fishing in the rain, I take a towel - place it on the seat and stand on it to get the water out of the seat pad insert - the plastic membrane is long gone in my seats and they will hold water for along time if you don't use the towel trick.

If you’re fishing in a downpour, don’t you have rain gear on? Sit down and drive.
