    Updating units with phone app?

    As my title states, are any of you updating your units via the Hummingbird app that can be installed on your phone? This seems so much easier than downloading to SD cards. Thanks for any feedback. Steve

    I did it for the 1st time today for a Helix G2N and it worked great.

    I used to do it with my Helix... Opened Fishmart app with my 2 Solix and cant get the app to see my Solix.
    Maybe solix are not compatible with Fishsmart app...

    After reading your post I checked on Hummingbirds website and the fishsmart app is supposed to work on the Solix as well as the Helix. Good to know.

    Updating with fishsmart app is easier. Make sure you change your device settings to not close after not being used for awhile. My phone went to sleep after 30 seconds of just sitting there and I had to start over again. Changed that setting and easy peasy
