USA New Crestliner VT 17 - finally!

Finally picked up my Crestliner VT 17 yesterday, after nearly 3 months of waiting! I have a Merc 75hp 4-stroke, Ultrex 24v w/I-Pilot Link, Helix 9 G3N MDI on bow and Helix 9 G3N MSI with a BBT mount on console.
Bought from ProX Powersports in Ooltewah, TN - and they are a top notch place, very happy with them and the overall quality of the boat and trailer! Yay for Crestliner's January promotion (and veterans discount) which saved me $1250 in addition to my aggressively negotiated deal.

Looks like my first trip will be Tuesday next week, can't wait!

I have a wire storage rack to hold 12 Plano 3700/etc boxes which I'm mounting in the front center compartment, otherwise it for mods for now.

Nice boat you will like Crestline. As Crestliner owners know you always catch more in a Crestliner.

I have a VT17 myself, and like it quite a bit. Very nice rig you got there.

Thank y'all, excited for Tuesday. A little motor break-in, a little playing around with the 'birds and the ultrex and definitely some fishing! Lake still in winter draw down, hope my SUV doesn't have to get wet to float the boat off the trailer.

Had my triton vt17 for 3 years now. Been a fantastic boat. Wish mine had a 75hp on it. If you have trouble getting it lined up good on the trailer don't back it in so far. Mine likes the top of the tire fenders about 3" out of the water.

Galvanized trailer looks good against the black boat with the silver stripes on it

Thank you! I'll keep the 3" fender trick in my head in case I have problems, was planning to have them sticking out of the water an inch or two, as that's worked well in the past - but I'll adjust.

I originally wanted a painted trailer and the fancy mag rims but the dealer talked me into the galvanized, and it's what my last boat had.
