    Oil pump - 2013 merc 250 pro xs

    Hey Guys,

    In the fall my mechanic advised that I need a new Oil pump for my 2013 merc 250 pro xs. Not that I dont trust that shop but it's an expensive repair ($1000 Canadian).

    How would I know if it needs to be changed? Is this something I can do myself. Motor is out of warranty.

    Great question to post in the 3L forum (what your engine is) but short answer is if pump is leaking it needs to be replaced.
