Fished for a while on Friday afternoon. Wind was brutal. Caught a few, but had a really tough time feeling bites. On the plus side, my wife got to experience what stuffing a wave feels like...

Was running (really creeping) across the lake and backed off pad as we were coming into a cove I wanted to fish. Saw one big wave just as I did, and didn’t have enough time to get the nose back up. 68 degree water in the face does not make the wife happy...

Until it hits about 110° and about 99% humidity, then you won't be able to buy a breath of wind ...

Out my way it’s Jan-June for the most part, hotter it gets the calmer the wind.
