I currently have two 7612 units and two 7610 units using the ccv 20 black box and gt34uhd transducer can the gt-54uhd transducer be used as well if I remove the 34 also is there any benefit to doing this also have gt-52 on rear of boat as well but the 54 now has 2d in it is it worth going to the 54 to see fish easier on side imaging
The GCV20 box will only operate the GT34UHD, not the GT54. I think the GT34 gives better results than the GT54 anyway on UHD. The GT54 is spectacular on 455 for seeing fish and that is not an option on the GT34 but that's not UHD. You can use the GT52 for that. So to answer your question, since you have the GT52, no I would not get the GT54.
