I have a 787 c2i that is in perfect operating condition except for the fact that the screen seems to be electronically "etched" internally. This makes it impossible to read when the sun is shining on the unit.
Humminbird, unfortunately no longer supports this model with their rebuilding program.
Any way to take this apart and polish out the "etching" while maintaining the units integrity?
