    1995 charger 195 jack plate ?

20190409_194935 (2).jpg I have a 14 inch rapid jack jp on my boat. Boat sits extremely low in water . Everything else is good. If I go to a smaller jack plate say a 6 inch is what I have been told would be a good size . Will that help raise the rear of the boat at all ?

4" maybe 6" at most 14" way too much and yes it will raise the back of the boat out of the water. Got to think of a hull as having a balancing point any weight added to or moved further away from that point is going to have a negative effect.
