    Drag slipping

    I have a gen 1 revo premier, drag is slipping and won't tighten down,any suggestions

    I've upgraded my drag in alot of my reels to carbontex drag washers. Not sure though if they make them for your reel but contact tackle trap and I'm sure they will help you out.

    I stuck carbon drag washers in an old Greenie Curado that was giving me those issues. It solved the problem, just hoping it doesn't tear anything else up!

    I probably should retire that reel...it's sentimental as it was my first baitcaster ever. Tough when it still works great though!

    OP... is this a change of behavior for this reel? The 1st gen Premier doesn't have a very stout drag...

    Change out the drag washer. If you cleaned the reel recently make sure the metal washers are where the schematic says verbatim. There’s only a few parts that can go bad for a drag and all are really easy to fix

    It was cleaned,maybe put back together wrong
