    Explorer sport 4x4

Hey guys does a 2015 explorer sport 4 wheel drive is it a good tow vehicle.
I know this ain’t a true 4 by just not sure how it would work pulling a boat out a steep ramp.
Otherwise it got a 3.5 ecoboost.

It will do fine, probably sag a little. Max tow capacity is 5000 lbs

I know it will pull it 350 hp is way more than enough. Just wondering how sure footed it would be on ramps.

Shouldn’t have an issue. I pull with an AWD Durango and have never slipped on ramps. Granted most of our ramps aren’t that steep but one always sketches me out watching the full size pickups slip but I’ve never had an issue. Have also used a 2008 explorer 4wd to tow and have never slipped with that either.
