98 basscat trailer surge brake shock

I can not find a Atwood 85830 dampening shock. I have called basscat and the company basscat recommends and no one has them. I am trying to see if there are any other options for getting this shock, different brand or company. I have all ready been all over google looking.

That's the whole hitch. I dont want to replace the whole hitch. Just the shock.

With it being out of stock everywhere, it doesn't seem like replacing just the shock will be a plausible option to me at least.

If you can't find the shock, there is little choice. Live with it or replace the whole thing. Not much point discussing options that are not going to happen.
