    Help with decision

    Helix 12 or Solix 10? I have a 1198c now and someone wants it more than I. I have wanted a newer unit but not sure on the model. Pros and Cons please

    The helix will be much easier transition from the 1198. Solix is great with the touchscreen but you will find it challenging to learn all the options and operational differences. I went from an 1198 to a Solix 12. I have been involved in digital electronics since the 60's and found it challenging. Unless you are up for a learning experience you would find the Helix a much easier transition experience. Bob
    Note: I got $600 a few months ago for my "clean" and totally functional 1198.
