Last time I tried to get one for my 958c, I was told they are no longer available.

I suggest you call & sweet talk them into overnighting one to you, and be prepared to pay for the privilege. No other retailer is likely to have a part for an 8 year old unit on the shelf...

You could take a ball of plumbers putty and use that to hold them in place until you get the part.

Won't be pretty but you can also use black electrical tape...........few wraps around wires and then few wraps around base of unit below screen.
Should be pretty easy for temporary fix.

Do you know if they are the same as 800 series as previously mentioned or can you take a photo? May have one if so.

The 800/900 series used a different collector (MBCC 900(ci) collector).

What old 800 units you got? They work? I have 800's also and was thinking of buying for back up.

So I know the collectors are different but is there two on the 1100? On my 999's there are two, I only use one side but have the other side attached to the unit with block offs installed, I know I misplaced one and swipe the other side till I found it

Every time I have a similar issue...I wonder if an investment in an inexpensive 3D printer wouldn't solve most of these types of problems. Some librarys have them and card holders can use them for free or a very small fee.

I hate to learn a whole new technology at my advanced age (79), but...it might be worth it.
