Will be fishing the first one and if its a well run circuit will fish the rest as the schedule looks really good.

Just saw the payout, am I seeing it right that there is only 65% payback on the entries?

Check their website. There is a larger payout for the championship and the angler of the year.

^^ Correct. Partial of each entry goes towards the Championship plus there is also the AOY. Fish to Win and better yourself > $$ and Money gets spent, hardware stays home.

I have ran 100% payout tournaments and it is not easy. Even with sponsors there are and always will be out of pocket cost. If I was to redo it I would take a small cut to cover my personal expenses for being tournament director.

I understand taking a cut, and have been involved in running tournaments myself, but only paying 65% back at each tournament, IMO, is a bit low regardless of what goes to the championship or angler of the year.

I'll be really curious to see how this works out as well! I love the schedule and format, but I'll be waiting at least a year hoping for higher payout per tournament.
