    Help

    I've been running a 24P Fury at 5500 rpm. Speeds have been around 63 mph with an excellent hole shot. I see that mercury is offering a 23P fury now. Besides bringing my rpms up to around 5700. What else could I expect to see with speed and hole shot?

    Will top speed increase as well? I’m guessing the hole shot will get even better?

    It shouldn't increase top speed just the rpm's.

    Better performance in acceleration and throttle response? But not top speed? The reason I ask about top speed is I had a marina tell me that if I got my RPMs up, then speed should increase as well.

    Only if your motor makes more HP at higher rpms.

    I wouldn't have a clue if that is the case with my motor. I guess before I worry about gaining speed, I want to make sure that I won't lose any speed going to the 23P?
