    in dash electronics question

    My buddy just got a 2014 Z8 that has a small humminbird in the dash. It actually has a large area but he's not sure what is the maximum size unit that can be installed in the dash. He wants a Humminbird 9 or 10 if will fit. Anyone know off hand what size will fit in this model and what is required to mount a bigger unit in this console? Thanks

    Better off going with a BBT mount in that space then get the graph of choice, 7", 10", 12"...

    A Helix 8/9/10 will not fit in the dash of a Z-8. Speedo and Tach gauges are in the way.

    Precision Sonar Mount. Removed Speedo Gauge and inserted Merc Monitor in place.
