Whitey's Fish Camp Thursday Night Tourney

Anyone fish these regularly? Curious as to what it takes to win normally?

Follow them on Facebook. They post results a day or 2 after.

I've only fished a couple, it varies so widely based on conditions. I've seen some monster bags weighed in over there. I want to fish them more often but I'm new to Florida and can barely catch a bass plus I dont have a partner.

Low weights the last 2 tournaments compared to other years. The weather has been a factor and also lack of ell grass in the river.

Is it a team tournament? Doesn't really say much on Facebook other than the dates.

You can fish by yourself though. New rule started no pre fishing on the day of the tournament (Thursday). No scanning, looking for beds or checking out areas.

I'm looking for a partner to fish these tourneys at Whitey's. I've fished a couple by myself, but could benefit from having another line in the water. If you know anyone looking for a boater to partner with DM me.

It is a great event. Only fished a few over the years. Only live a few miles away but Navy life has always gotten in the way. Hoping next year to fish a lot of them. I think, however, might have the wife take the trailer home because the parking is awful.
