    Newest 93SV Echomap Updates

    Does the newest version of the 93SV already have the updates incorporated or do they still have to be downloaded to an SD card?

    Only you will be able to tell if you buy it.....if its "old" stock then it will need to be updated.....

    I believe the sd card must be in the unit to update. I did mine with the Active Captain app, and it worked just fine. It shuts off and restarts a few times, so make sure it's done before you do anything.

    Go to “software information” on your unit and go to the second page, it will say what map is incorporated in your unit.

    Software updates are installed to the unit. Map updates are on the SD card.
