    I'll keep a intracoastal, maybe a little noisier than the carpeted version, but no fish smell, no hooks caught in carpet, no re-carpet after serveral years and no problem going into salt water. For me pro out ways the cons, but everyone needs vary.

    Last I checked, Seadek isn't cheap and for those of us with the normal lids that are molded with the space for the carpet you'd have these gaps between the lids and the deck.

    I'm considering putting seadek on the floor of my boat while leaving the carpet on the deck.

    You can't keep it clean. It's OK for Biff & Buffy on there swim platform. They can hose off that run and coke....
