    2003 ox66 trim caps

... Kicked my rear. I bought an adjustable pin wrench for harbor freight to take the caps off. I broke really quick. I found another pin wrench at the house, that with some welding I made work. It broke really quickly too. So then I decided to take an air hammer to it. All this bright idea did was cost me $78, and I still couldn't get the cap off. So, I went over to a friends, and with the help of a Bridgeport, a lathe and a welder, we came up with this.

Hopefully this will fix my leaky trim. All in all it was a pretty easy job once the cap came off. But I still hope I don't have to do it again for a long time.

I'm in the same boat $78 tool useless and snapped multiple pins. Now soaking the stupid caps in PB blaster to see if they'll loosen up enough to crack them loose.
