    Transducer Placement

I don't get any depth reading above 15 mph and it shoots a roost at the motor and even above the motor. Any suggestions on location?

I use a transducer saver bracket attached to my jack plate.

I was thinking that would be my best bet. Do you have a link for that saver?

Do yourself a favor and install a board if you decide to move it from where it is now. Otherwise, you'll just keep poking holes in that pretty transom.

For sure. I bought the transducer shield to attach it to the jackplate. Just need to figure out the best spot for the 2d transducer.
