Are all 2.5L stock heads cut the same no matter what HP it is? Is a 175HP head the same as a 225HP head? I always thought the HP difference was in the porting but now im wondering if the heads differ in this as well. Thank you

yes some do and so do some thickness of gaskets

a 225 promax head has different volume heads than a 175,,the CC's are dictated by the part# on the head,,most painted black heads can interchange ok,but gasket thickness and port volume will differ a bit.,which will change compression ratioOriginally Posted by cn8165
