Hpdi trim issue

Was lowering the motor from the cowling switch to drain the water out and as it was lowering it studdered stop kept going and did it again. Tried to raise it from the cowling and it did the same thing. Checked from the trim tilt switch at the console and worked fine.


Do you think i just need to replace the switch at the cowling? And any idea what part number it is if ya think that’s the issue

I would check connections to it first. Make sure they are clean, tight, and free of any corrosion.
