No, not yet. If I was smart enough to know how
to place them, I would like to have them on

Back when all of us were part of the Tin Boat Forum there was a guy who had made this modification putting on the deck lid lift struts. He had pictures and explained how he did it. Unless his post have been deleted it you should be able to find it.
