Yikes! I'm gonna try and stay positive and hope not. Couldn't find a tamper proof pentalobe bit today. Had to order from Amazon. Won't receive till Thursday. If it is stripped.......is there a temp fix? Like going up 1 screw size till I can fix properly and replace part? Have a vacation fishing trip starting on 26th.

I got the pentalobe out of mine using a pair of circlip pliers and replaced it with a Phillip's head.

Yep, that's what I meant. Basically anything you can wedge in there and turn, it shouldn't be very tight, esp if it keeps slipping

So here's an update. My timing lever screw wasn't stripped at all.....just a little loose. I used some blue loctite on the screw and got it good and tight right up against the timing lever. Went to lake this evening. Boat done great. No more issues. I'm gonna say best it's been since I owned the boat. If like to thank the guys on here who shared their knowledge to help me. Some real sharp guys on here. Thanks again
