I just bought a 2003 Alumaweld w/ 175 Sport Jet.
After running it a few hrs it died at 3/4 throttle just like you shut the key off.
Good voltage, 12v transfer pump pushes lots of fuel.
If I hook up a remote starter to the solenoid with the key off it will crank constantly but as soon the key is switched to 'run' when remotely cranking, it fires for a split second and as soon as the engine begins to run and it kicks the Bendix gear away it dies like you shut the key off, every time like clock work.
It appears the ignition is getting crank voltage but no "run voltage"?
I need some help figuring this out.
