    Aerator fitting replacement

Found another thing tonight that the previous owner messed up. I was looking in the front live well and the fill line nut was on backwards (easy fix). The aerator fitting is another story & needs replaced. What I can't figure out is how to get it out or the new one in. There is only about 1" or so between the livewell wall & another fiberglass wall. Is there a secret to getting it out?

So the previous owner had it out to place a nut on backwards? If so there has to be a hidden access or it was done when it was recarpeted. Perhaps they cut a hole in the deck?

This is just one more thing I have found with this boat. The previous owner obviously didn't understand what they were doing. The aerator fitting is quite messed up. Looks like someone took a pair of pliers to it. I was able to get the nut off, but can't back the fitting out of the hole as there is only about an inch behind it. At this point I am seriously considering doing away with the front live well.

Many folks have plugged the front well and turned it into storage.
