    2019 175 TXW

Just got this boat and love it so far. Have a question, it seems to perform best at about half trim on the gauge. Does this sound about right? I feel like I start getting slip any higher than this. I am still in breakin so I haven’t ran WOT for a long period but am seeing 36-37 with half tank of gas, myself, all gear, and two ~45 pound kiddos.

These boats don't need or want much trim at all to be at their optimum setting. I don't go by the trim gauge, just the feel of the boat.

Is your speed by the boats speedometer or GPS? My boat speedometer is accurate up to about 35 MPH, above that it reads +/- 5 MPH faster than GPS.

If you have the 60 HP motor you're right at the max speed and about 4-5 MPH short for the 75 HP.

Congratulations on the boat, hope it gives you many years of pleasure.

It is the 60 and speed is GPS. I agree that it doesn’t seem to like a lot of trim.

I think its pretty common (not just Trackers) for the usable limit for "trim" to be about half way on the gauge, beyond that is more or less the "tilt" range.
