    Different Prop?

I am interested in adding a couple of talons and a transom mounted Humminbird 360 unit. I have a Mercury 4 stroke 50 hp engine. I talked to my dealer about adding the talons and the 360 and they said I might have to put on a different prop. Has anyone run into that issue? What would I be looking for in a different prop?

Yes... You will want a prop for a pontoon boat... Large diameter and less pitch. Known as a load pushing prop.

Hopefully you have a tachometer. You want a pitch that can reach your max rpms for that motor. Maybe the dealer has a few for you to test before you buy. The new spitfire might be a great option for you....
