    North East Texas report

Hey guys the shallow waters here in NE Texas have come alive. Water temps are anywhere from 59 to 65 on my past few trips. But yesterday the fish arrived in numbers in the shallows. I caught them on Spinner baits, chugger style baits, Flukes, and top water frogs. Most of the 15 fish were not great bigguns, and the better ones hit before it was light enough to catch them on the video below. Best bait was the hollow bodied top water frogs.

Winds as of late have been pushing 12 to 18 mph, with gust up to 30 mph. Along with that and the constant rains we are finding some muddy areas. But most of the lakes around here are getting clearer. Grasses are getting thicker and filtering better in my opinion.

The best I caught are reflected in the video and in the following photos at the end.
