I have a 17 puma with low hours. Some times my speedometer does not work, the needle doesn't move. I have dug small bits of wood from the skeg on the tm lower unit. But also notice that the mpg on the digital display also doesn't display as well, all other digital read outs seem to work. And my lowrance unit with nema connections shows the mpg there. Does that gauge get its input from something else? It seems liked at least half of my runs though out the day it works, other have it cuts out with no rhyme or reason.
