Is the X9 the spinning rod line and the X5 for heavy cover?

How does the X9 work with tying connecting knots to leader? Some braids seem to slip.

Yes, it is my understanding that the X9 is for spinning reels and the X5 is for heavy cover. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Tried em both. Will buy more. X9 casts great, X5 flips great. No birds nests like other expensive ones Ive tried. (PPslick, Fire, spider) lol. Its good line, works for me and I'm picky. Haven't tried on spinning gear. Line twist on spinning gear is the worst. Maybe I'll try some X9 on it.

I have 30lb on my swim jig rod and chatterbait rod. So far so good. Smaller diameter than I am used to.
