    You can catch and immediately release right now.... I think you can put in the live well the 3rd Saturday in June.

    Strictly release. Just checking the rules.
    Here in Indiana, the only closed season we have is for put and take trout on inland waters.

    Only Michigan waters are open to catch and release all year. Canadian water are closed to ALL bass fishing until the 4th Saturday in June I believe.

    3rd Saturday of June in Ontario.
    This is why I love fishing in Michigan and I’m from Ontario.
