    Oh there are are big girls in there....and the fish are generally healthy. Its just not a numbers lake for the most part....can be very humbling. I love it...my favorite place to be. Well besides St Clair!

    Yes, Paynetown is usable. Just watch wind direction as high water,,it’s not as protected and wave action in trailering boat could get wettish if wind is out of the south or west.

    Also, you can use the highwater launch at Cutright. No boat dock tho, everybody beaches boat next to sides of ramp and it’s a ramp that 2 boats can launch at the same time. It’s a lot more protected from wind and waves, but lots of people using it as well as Paynetown.
