This has the potential to be good...

darrly1966 why wait on a gator? Beaver isn't bad to eat, if fresh. You should give it try

Beaver populations use to be controlled by trappers for many, many years but went south when the price of their pelts went way south. When it got to where they were not worth the trouble the trapping stoppedand their numbers have skyrocketed. Their rapid growth has destroyed many thousands of acres of timber for many. Mother Nature can control it's own but there are a few things i think she may need a little help from time to time. Fire ants being another problem.

A life long eater of beaver it's amazing how much they've changed over the years. You'd think evolution would take much much longer but I swear every beaver I ate back int he 80's had really long hair you had to deal with. These days it's seems hard to find one with hardly any hair at all.....crazy.

I would only imagine the bush has continued to trend downward as the years have passed.

Just keep catching them, don't ever make one your pet. Cause after that you'll never get any beaver.

I know a smart man Steve, but is that a typo, " make one your pet"?? You mean don't pet one?? Because if you ever do, it sure is better than your CAT. OR is that one in the same???????

Don't pet the sweaty things and don't sweat the petty things.
