    Claytor lake

Thinkin about hitting claytor in a couple weeks. Never fished VA and that’s not a horrible drive down to try out. Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Lots of docks to fish and fish moving shallow now. Stay between the bridge and the dam for safety.

Claytor has sone fish in it but if you want a better day just drive alil farther to moomaw or even Smith Mtn.
Alil joke i have heard and sometimes it owns up to it is that Claytor is called the "dead sea"
