Mods to gain HP on 150 VMax

Running a ‘98 carb 2.6L VMax 150 on a Champion 186. It’s rated for a 175. I was wondering what the actual difference is between the 150 and 175. Is there any way to gain a decent amount of power without hurting fuel economy (which is already bad) and having to run premium gas? I understand the Hydro Tec phase kits are nice, but not sure how much I could gain. Just wondering what options I have and how they will affect the things already mentioned.

Call them and ask for Matt or Wayne Worthy. Very knowledgeable and realistic when they discuss options and what they can do with your motor. I will tell you that they can make them fly!

I have bought 2 motors from them, the phase kits can make a big difference. Call them!!!
