So how you liking Pueblo Rob Allen?

So now that you've been there for a bit, how are you liking it?
My daughter and her husband just went down there this morning to spend a week to see if thats where they want to move.

I like the weather, it's almost always sunny and it has not been too cold. I was at the bassmasters classic while that wind storm came through.
I would say this is a good time to buy, at least in Pueblo West, houses are going up like crazy and I'd expect property values are going to be going up.
If you are a gardner you'll need to do lots of soil mending.
The people seem nice, the roads were a bit confusing at first but it all makes sense after a week or two.
I guess there are sections of town to stay out of down in the south east.

My biggest problem is that employers are really unresponsive. At least to my resume and applications.
Anyone moving here should secure employment before they move here.
In all honesty i like Washington state and my home there much better, but i am here and making the best of it.

I don't know how much help this is but these are my observations.
Ohh and Big R blows tractor supply out of the water.

i have seen some of their stuff, most of it is way outside of any experience i have. i'm pretty much a dumb old fisherman. out of place any time i am not near a fishing rod. mostly i have been applying at manufacturing places but i am even limited there because at my age and condition lots of hard labor isn't an option.
