Best Culling Clip System Out There

Just got the Accu Cull Elite. Excited to try them out.

I just purchased the Cal system. When taking a fish out of the live well I use the float to get them half way out them grab the mouth. I have had a couple come off while lifting them out. Seems like they need just one more tooth on the locking teeth. I don't believe this would be an issue on bigger bass. Just need to catch one to find out.

The Ardent clips work well also and u can still use existing puncute type with them

+1 on the Ardents, I put them on my current piercing tags because I liked what I had and the clips work excellent. Have had some pretty lively smallmouth on them with no issues.

By the end of the first day of use, 3 of the clips were broken. I like the scale but the clips don’t work.

junk will break after first or second use, scale is the best out there though. Go cal coast 2.0 and dont look back

Not sure the brand it may have been accu cull but I had the ones that go through the first gill plate and clip shut as a loop. Best cull tags I ever owned and still use. Great Lakes smallies to hot water largemouth never had a issue love them.

I use the cheap ones that came with my rapala culling scale, the just clamp on. 2 years ow and still havent had a fish come off one. I figured they would be junk after reading all the tackle warehouse reviews but obviously those guys threw them out before trying them

Cal Coast difficult to open then they did not hold. Don’t be in a hurry they take more time then I want to spend tagging fish during a tournament! I called the company he gave me the Cal Coast 101 speech said maybe I had bad clips sent new one worked poorly also!

I still have the Old School clips that I place thru the first gill plate and then over the lip. Never have used them to Penetrate !! AND, never had one open up or cause any damage to the fish. Tried the clips.........Nope !! SUCK !! If you or another fish "Bump" the clip, they open up !!

Bought the initial TH Marine cull system, returned them same day, looked at the Gen 2’s but passed. Ended up with the Cal Coast 2.0. I’m happy with purchase but be careful pulling bass out of livewell. I’ve had 2 bass (2#s) come off pulling out of livewell. Fished 5 - 2 day tournaments with them so far. Maybe I didn’t cinch them down all the way. Overall easy/quick to lock fish on and start fishing again. Also when using beam I’d work in the middle of the boat.

I use the Cal Coast Fishing Clip-N-Cull 2.0 easy to use, my Nephew takes care of all the culling and attacking the clips.

I converted my ardent puncture type to non piercing. They have worked great thus far.
