Raker II with large vent holes

28 Raker II Evinrude Ficht 250, this prop has large vent holes, want to try some smaller holes, heard not to plug these on Ficht because of exhaust temp. Is this true, seem to be getting a lot of blow out or slippage, 63 top speed, Ranger 521vx

The E-TECH's have a very high exhaust temperature. The Ficht exhaust temperature is not that bad.

The Raker II comes with standard vent holes. If it has adjustable PVS holes then someone has had the prop modified to accept PVS plugs. I have 3 props. My 24 Raker has standard Raker vent holes. I have two 24 Raker II's. Both of them I had modified so the vent holes are like the Mercury PVS plug system.

Sounds like a set up issue with the blow out. I wouldn't worry about exhaust temps like mentioned above. I run a regular raker on my etec and haven't had issues. Of you want to sell yours let me know I'm looking for that prop lol
