    Remington 700 Titanium

Fellas, I’m considering buying a lightly used Remington 700 Titanium 30-06, ‘07 model I believe with maybe a box of ammo through it. The guy wants $1750 for it. Won’t take less. Think it’s worth that? It’s virtually brand new and if I recall, msrp on them new was close to $2,000.

I am am not looking for other rifle recommendations or anything like that. I have other high end rifles but this would fill a void in my arsenal. I don’t really trust new model Rem 700 rifles as far as craftsmanship and such but since this is an older model it is intriguing to me.

    Thoughts?

I would not pay that for a Remington. I could get a fine Win supergrade for that.

There's one on Gunbroker right now with a Zeiss Conquest scope same caliber. Starting bid is $1,599 just for reference.

I have one in .308 now, I think I paid around $1100 for it brand new in '02, it's been a really good rifle, I would seriously look at the Kimber rifles if you're going to spend that much money, they are nice.

I would have a tough time convincing myself to spent $1800 on any Remington rifle. Too many better options out there.

This. Can get a Lone Peak Arms Fuzion action and a custom barrel for about that money.

I don’t trust their triggers after all the issues they’ve had.

Browning Xbolt hell’s canyon speed $1200 brand new.

For the xbolt owners. I am a trigger snob and was not happy with the factory trigger. I was looking into a jard, ended up finding a spring from mcarbo, best $12 investment you can make to your xbolt.
