    Lifetime license

Just bought my last Ohio fishing license. Wish they had this about 20 years ago.

I think it's a great idea I just wish it was a better deal. $468 is 25 years of fishing licences at the normal price. I'm only 27 and still don't think that is worth it. If I am lucky and stay in Ohio my whole life the most I will save is $468 (assuming fishing for 50 more years). Giving $468 to the Ohio ODNR up front will actually cost me more in the long run assuming I keep that money in a savings account making pitiful returns. It's a great idea i just don't see the benefit right now. Who knows I could move to Florida in 5 years.

I got mine and I am almost 38. If I move away I have a good reason to come back and fish.........but only at lake Erie!

Almost 38 also. Read something about license increasing to $24 soon.
