    Fortrex 101 question

Ran into a stump and broke the rope guide assembly. Its cast and has a pin going through it that looks like it connects to the long arms of the mount. Cracked right at the pin. Anyone swap one of these out before? One man job or do I need a second set of hands available when I tear into it?

time consuming job. It is best to take to an ACS to do the job. They could do it in less time. Mount must be completely disassembled to fix.

Replaced the piece tonight that I broke. Minn Kota has since upgraded the rope guide assembly since my 2010 Fortrex was built. New one was a lot thicker and eliminated the delron bushings. The hardest part of the job was compressing the spring that is in the big ball socket on the mount. Couple of ratchet straps worked great to squeeze everything together so I could get those three cap screws in there. Going to put it through its paces this weekend as we have a two day tourney on Falls Lake in NC
